In 2012 I had the privilege of sitting with a few people in New York City as we listened to six Mayan Elders speak about what 2012 meant in terms of the Mayan prophecies.

At that time many people were very concerned about what was to happen as 2012 was spoken of as the time that the world as we knew it, would end.

The Elders told us there was nothing to fear and that 2012 represented something quite wonderful. They said that 2012 would be the first time there would be more people of consciousness in the world than ever before.

Clearly their words were grounded in truth.

When I was a young girl in the 1960’s, we visited my Dad’s friend Eddie and his family once a year. Whenever anyone spoke of Eddie, they whispered because he was a ”chiropractor” spoken as if he were a witch doctor.

Back then there were almost no chiropractors, and they were considered outside the norm.

Fast forward to 2026 where the words: Energy, Frequency and Vibration have become a part of our lexicon and are even used in advertisements.

Yoga centers are as common as gyms and meditation is being taught in elementary schools. Spiritual centers are popping up in cities across the country, while best-selling books about spiritual enlightenment fill the New York Times bestseller list.

Today, a time that many people would call difficult and constraining, finds spiritualism on the rise.

Many people come to spirituality through yoga and meditation, through books and through friends.

I remember the early days when I was a teenager and then a young adult, eager to learn about spiritual practices.

Like many others, perhaps even you, I started as a seeker.

A seeker is someone who’s searching, looking for something different, teachings that share new information. As I reads spiritual material I found words that resonated with my heart not just my mind, and philosophies that resonated, truths that I could believe in and trust.

During my days as a Seeker, I attended many, many workshops, and had regular teachings with the Guide I had been introduced to. I worked with other teachers and consulted astrologers, and even worked with a few psychics along the way, but the material my teacher shared with me, continued to deeply resonate.

After being a seeker, and a student of my teacher for many years, I began to use and bring the information I was being given into my daily life. I wasn’t testing the information I was living by it. As I lived the work I was being given, I saw my life change dramatically.

I no longer wanted to create or be around anyone who was comfortable with drama. I committed to honesty and clarity as my guidelines, when building and sustaining relationships. I consistently watched my behavior and transformed actions and beliefs that didn’t serve my highest good or the highest good for all.

These were just some of the actions I took that began to create a life that became more calm, peaceful, integral and successful.
That’s when I realized I had moved from being a seeker, to being a student. I had found a body of work that resonated with me and I used it moment to moment as my daily guide.

I no longer needed to read about many different philosophies, I had found a path that I chose to walk, and I decided to go deep.

Working with my teacher was key.

Her guidance, wisdom, kindness and complete acceptance of me wherever I was, was exactly what was needed as I worked diligently to let go of old conditioning, and welcome in a new Selina.

Now many years later, I’m a teacher. It’s one of the most profound gifts I’ve been given. I love watching students come to the work of making their life their spiritual practice. For in the work here, our daily life is what we use as our practice pad for spiritual transformation.

It’s a true joy to watch students learn how to observe instead of judge, to create flow instead of resistance.

I marvel at my students developing the ability to recognize the fear they hold and then transform old patterns through the practices supplied.

Most importantly I have a front row seat and can see them transform their lives month by month as they let go of worry and stress, replacing those frequencies that no longer serve them, with ease and grace and peace.

Seekers moving towards students, students becoming more conscious as peace becomes ever present and accessible in their daily lives.

Our world Beloved, is a complex place.

Often, it’s difficult, challenging, and harsh. However, when you choose to be a spiritual student, all of the difficult experiences you have become the work, your work.

Every piece of difficulty carries an opportunity for transformation.

Yes, our world is struggling, but as more of us come to the light becoming seekers and then students, we help to change the dark into light.

Very often people ask me what can I do to help our world?

And I say the same thing every single time.

If you’ve been a seeker Beloved, perhaps it’s time to become a student. If you’re looking for a teacher, I know of one.

Feel free reach out to me.

We’ll set up a time to talk about your path, and I’ll share what it looks like to be a student here.

At the end of our call, you’ll have the information that you need, when it’s time for you to go from seeker to spiritual student.

If you are ready now to use your daily difficulty instead of having it use you, and you wish to be the kind of person that helps our world evolve toward the light, toward love, reach out to me.

I’m excited to answer your call.
