“Faith is the bird that feels the light when the dawn is still dark.”
– Rabindranath Tagore
How wonderful to be gifted with the quality of faith.
The certainty that we hold, that isn’t shaken or shifted regardless of what unfolds.
But I have no faith, you say.
And I gently remind you that of course you do.
You go to sleep every night and never concern yourself with how you will breathe as your brain rests and you enter the great mystery.
You arise every day without instruction to your blood to flow and your lungs to breath and your heart to beat.
This is faith.
This is you knowing that your body will continue to function every day without your brain and ego overseeing the process.
This is you believing.
This is you holding faith.
